"Ms. Huffmon,
Thanks for all the beautiful issues you sent to me. You are very correct on the issues regarding a happy employee. When managers know how to respect individualism, diversity, culture, values, equal opportunity...etc., they will be more adept in being manager or alone can either be a "Manager from Hell" or "Manager from Heaven".

Make a Decision to be Happy
Foreclosures are up, unemployment is up, and the economy is down. Therefore, its no surprise that people report themselves as being more unhappy. Research has discovered that happiness is a state of mind which we can all affect by making some simple adjustments in our lives. Adjustments such as, getting more exercise, walking out of a noisy office for a few minutes, and stay clear of negative or pessimestic people can help you have a more outlook on life. Admittedly, its difficult to keep a smile on your face when there seems to bad news all around you. Find some ways to clear your head for example, take deep breathes periodically throughout the day, can help you gain a more positive perspective to find the right solutions. Actively look for reasons to be joyful, smile more often, people will smile back at you. It's contagious.

Learning Technology Can Inspire
Learning new technology can inspire a fresh motivation. In this extremely technological age most of us older folks hesitate to immerse ourselfs in the world of MySpace, FaceBook, and Twitter. What does it mean to tweet someone? Why should I get a FaceBook page? These are questions that many may say because we've lived so long without these contact opportunities. But, take it from me taking the time to learn the new technology can bring a vibrancy to your day. I registered with FaceBook just two days ago. I can't believe the kind of excitement it has created in me to find new contacts. This is a whole new world for reaching out to people in which I have something in common. Trust me you will be newly inspired motivation for work, and life because you will be included in the watercooler conversations again. No longer will you feel left behind by the younger generation. But be warned, you could get addicted. Find me now at http://twitter.com/angelahuffmon.
